Specialist Lenders Hold Rates Steady in May

Specialist expat lenders have held rates steady at the start of May, despite mainstream lenders trimming a few of their flagship products. The gap between high-street and specialist rates remains around 0.4 to 0.6 percent for non-UK residents.

For clients with foreign income and a strong deposit, the picture remains favourable. Most lenders we work with continue to lend at standard rates without applying a haircut to non-GBP income.
